Did Hades 2 get this reaction? I know some games do, but I thought that Hades's reputation as the bisexual game was strong enough that most people like this didn't even bother. I certainly didn't see any, it's mostly been people thirsting over Hecate in my experience.

It would be cool if she got as much attention as Peach, but you were talking about stuff like Nuance and Character Arcs which even Mario doesn't get in 90% of the games. Which is fine, Nintendo's games are a different niche.
I think it's important to remember we are talking about a Mario game character, and as such some epic personal journey is probably not really necessary. The extent of making her a tomboy on Nintendo's part would probably just be giving her some hard-hitting moves and an athletic outfit in the...
